André Carson, a U.S. Congressman representing Indiana's 7th district, shared updates on various legislative efforts through his social media platform. On December 11, 2024, Carson highlighted significant topics related to aviation safety and animal welfare.

In a post dated December 11, 2024, Carson discussed the implementation of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reauthorization during an aviation hearing held by the Transportation Democrats. He stated: "NEW: We’re talking implementation of the @FAANews reauthorization at today’s @TransportDems aviation hearing. Our bill will keep you safe, strengthen and diversify the aviation workforce, invest in sustainability, and improve consumer protections."

Later that day, Carson introduced Uno, a beagle rescued from an animal testing facility in 2022. In his post on December 11, he noted: "Meet Uno, the first of nearly 4,000 beagles rescued from a cruel animal testing facility in 2022. Uno went from this abusive lab to a safe and loving home – to now rubbing shoulders (and paws) with Congress!"

Following up on this issue, Carson expressed his commitment to ending government dog testing in another post on December 11. He stated: "I’m fighting to end government dog testing – for Uno, and the thousands of dogs subjected to inhumane experiments every year."
