State Representatives Bob Heaton and Alan Morrison are urging Indiana residents to participate in an online survey as the 2025 legislative session approaches. The survey is designed to gather feedback on key issues from constituents in their respective districts.

To take part, residents should visit their state representative's webpage and select the "Take My Survey" option. Those living in House District 46 can access Heaton's survey at in.gov/h46, while those in House District 42 can find Morrison's survey at in.gov/h42.

Heaton emphasized the importance of this input, stating, "By taking the time to complete this survey, constituents help guide the decisions I make on their behalf." He added that constituent feedback is crucial for work at the Statehouse.

The surveys must be completed by December 31 and are open only to district residents. To determine their district, constituents can visit the Indiana General Assembly's website at iga.in.gov and use the "Find Your Legislator" tool. Additionally, a physical copy of the survey may have been mailed to constituents' homes.

Morrison also highlighted the significance of these surveys: "These surveys are a great way for Hoosiers to share their perspectives and help shape the policies we consider," he said. He encouraged participation by noting that every voice matters.

The upcoming legislative session is scheduled to begin on January 8 and will end by April 29. Residents can follow proceedings via livestreams and access information about proposed legislation at iga.in.gov.

For ongoing updates during the session, Hoosiers can subscribe to email newsletters from their legislators through IndianaHouseRepublicans.com or contact them directly by calling 317-232-9600.
