The United States Senate has unanimously approved a bipartisan resolution to designate October 7-12, 2024, as "National 4-H Week." The resolution was introduced by Senators Todd Young and Mike Braun of Indiana, along with Senator John Boozman of Arkansas.

4-H is recognized as the largest youth development organization in the country, engaging nearly six million young people across the nation. The resolution acknowledges the significant role that 4-H plays in fostering youth development.

"4-H offers incredible experiences and teaches real-world skills to our future ag leaders. I’m glad to support this resolution establishing National 4-H Week and recognizing the life-changing opportunities it offers to young Hoosiers," stated Senator Young.

Further details on the full resolution are available online.
