The deadline for applications to the Indiana House Republican internship program is approaching, with interested candidates needing to submit their applications by October 31. State Representative Alan Morrison (R-Brazil) highlighted the opportunity, noting that the internship takes place during the spring semester and runs from January to April at the Statehouse in Indianapolis.

This full-time position offers a biweekly stipend of $900 and the possibility for students to earn academic credit through their educational institutions. "With opportunities to work in different departments, this internship gives students the chance to align their experience with their academic interests," Morrison stated. "It's a tremendous opportunity to expand your skills and explore new career paths."

Eligible applicants include college sophomores, juniors, seniors, graduate students, and recent graduates from any major. Interested individuals are encouraged to visit indianahouserepublicans.com/internship for more information and to complete their applications by the deadline.

The internship provides additional benefits such as free parking, career development assistance, and access to an Indiana government class. Interns can also apply for a $3,000 scholarship aimed at supporting undergraduate or graduate studies.

Participants have the chance to work in various departments like legislative operations, policy, and communications. Applications are accessible online at indianahouserepublicans.com/internship and must be submitted by October 31.
