Sensory Skate at Winterfest Hosted by LACD
The Lawrence Advisory Council on Disabilities - LACD is sponsoring a Sensory Skate at Lawrence Civic Plaza on Thursday, December 15 from 4-7pm. This free event will be held in an outdoor space, with reduced noise levels. Noise cancelling headphones will be available on site for participants. There will be outdoor lighting for visibility of the ice-skating rink. Members of the City of Lawrence Fire Department and other volunteers will be present to help skaters. All are welcome.
