It’s Homecoming Week: Sept. 18-24
BCHS celebrates ‘Homecoming for the Holidays’ at Homecoming 2022!
Here are the week’s activities:
September 18 (Sun.): Hallway Decorating 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
All are welcome. Pizza is provided. Class competition
Freshmen: 4th of July Theme
Sophomores: New Years Theme
Juniors: Christmas Theme
Seniors: Halloween Theme
September 19-23: Dress Down Days**
Monday: The 90s Day: Dress up as your favorite movie/TV characters from the ’90s
Tuesday: Alpine vs Tropical Day: Dress up for that winter ski trip or that summer island getaway!
Wednesday: Eras of History Day: Dress up as a historical hero or in historical dress from any era of history!
Thursday: Sunday Best Day: Wear dress clothes for Mass. Dress clothing should be school appropriate. If you do not dress up, you must be in school uniform.
Friday: Anything But a Backpack Day/Jersey Day: What will you use to carry your books around school?
Be creative! Also, wear your favorite team jersey/Powderpuff jersey to school.
Students can use items that are within the size parameters of a carry-on item (22x14x9).
Students cannot bring items that pose a safety risk to others or potentially damage school
property (floors, etc.).
Admin/STUCO Moderators will screen items at entrances and anything deemed inappropriate/
unsafe will be confiscated until the end of the day.
**it is important that all costumes/attire remain school appropriate and respectful to others. If you are uncertain as to whether or not your outfit would be appropriate, please consult a teacher or administrator.
On themed dress up days (EXCEPT FOR THURSDAY), if you do not dress up according to the day’s theme, you are permitted to wear Chatard spiritwear and jeans or sweatpants.
September 20 (Tues.): Powderpuff Tourney Semi-Finals
Game 1: 8:00 p.m. – Sophomores vs. Juniors; Game 2 – 9:00 p.m. – Seniors vs. Freshmen; In the BCHS stadium. Games are open to the public.
Admission: $2 freewill donation benefiting the National Breast Cancer Foundation
September 21 (Wed): Movie Night in the Stadium
Watch Scoobie Doo: The Movie under the stars in the BCHS stadium, from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Bring blankets and/or lawn chairs. No outside food or drink permitted.
September 23 (Fri): Powderpuff Tourney Championship
During the Pep Session that ends the school day in the stadium
September 23: Football Game vs Guerin Catholic
Student Section Theme for the game- Dress for your class holiday!
Homecoming court will be presented at halftime

September 24 (Sat.): Homecoming Dance
Dance will be 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. at the Stadium (in the Auxiliary Gym in case of rain). Students must stay the entire time.
Dress is semi-formal attire
Tickets will be on sale at lunch during Homecoming Week.
Cost is $10/person. Students receive a Homecoming t-shirt with ticket purchase.
Drinks and snacks are provided. No outside food or drink permitted.
Students are permitted to bring a guest from outside Chatard. Any non-Chatard students must
have a permission form submitted in advance. (Required Guest Form)
