Seven GLVC Teams Ranked in Final ITA Polls
The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released their final rankings for the 2022 season with numerous Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) teams being ranked in the top 10 of the region.
On the men’s side, Indianapolis is No. 2 after their run in the NCAA Tournament. Right behind the Greyhounds at No. 3 is McKendree who won their first Conference title this past spring. The final GLVC team ranked in the final poll is Drury at No. 8.
Four women’s teams from the league made the final rankings with Indianapolis topping the region at No. 1 and Southwest Baptist at No. 2. The Drury women joined their men’s team in the poll to end the year as they sit at No. 5 with Lewis being the final Conference squad ranked at No. 9.
