Eve's Garden Deli Opens in Lawrence
The 1st black owned deli in Indiana is open for business, right here in Lawrence! Myka Gurvitz is the owner of Eve’s Garden Deli, located at 6310 Oaklandon Road.
Each unique sandwich Myka and her husband serve is named after one their family members.
For example, "Lamar's Sweet Chicken" is named after their son's middle name.
It comes with sweet chicken, a fried egg, tomato jam, cream cheese, and Eve's sauce on a Hawaiian bun.
