City of Lawrence recently issued the following announcement.
47th & Richardt Neighborhood Drainage Improvements Update
This is the second phase of the drainage improvements project through Indianapolis DPW. This project includes installation of new drainage infrastructure (hybrid ditches, new storm sewers, new inlets, etc.) along 47th & 48th Streets, Richardt Ave, Sadler Dr, Hartman Dr, and Atwell Dr.
The project will also include resurfacing/full depth pavement replacement of the aforementioned roadways.
Residents can expect temporary road closures and lane restrictions during the duration of the project. Access will be maintained at all times to all properties. The project is expected to be completed by fall 2022.
