Bishop Chatard High School recently issued the following announcement.
Wondering what to do with your live tree after Christmas? St. Luke’s BSA Troop 171 will be holding their second annual Christmas Tree recycling day on Jan 8, 2022.
Who is Troop 171?
Troop 171 is an all-female troop including 40 scouts between the ages of 11-18 from 14 different schools. This service-orientated recycling fundraiser helps to fund our monthly campouts, which we do all year long. Donations to our troop for your recycled tree are encouraged (suggested donation is $20). Thank you for your support in developing female leaders via scouting and preparing them to confidently face their futures – and make our world a better place.
