Ben Davis High School recently issued the following announcement.
It is that time of the year again, when we all join together to provide assistance for those in need throughout the entire district – The annual Thanksgiving Food Drive! We will kick it off Monday, November 1, and it will run through Friday, November 12, and we need your help!
This project is sponsored by your 2022 Senior Class Officers and is our largest project of the year. This HUGE project feeds over 300 families each year district wide and costs over $7000.00 to fund! Each family receives a turkey, milk, bread, eggs, butter and 3 bags of groceries.
There are several different ways in which you can help to make this a success:
- Each Impact class can collect non-perishable food items. As you collect the food items, place them in a bag and keep track of your total items. Once a bag is filled, put your name on it and bring it to the main office.
- Provide monetary donations. All checks can be made payable to Ben Davis High School. If you collect cash and/or change, you bring it to the main office and we will receipt it for you.
- Sponsor a family for ONLY $25.00
The class that collects the most food items and money will win a free gourmet breakfast prepared by “The Waffle Guy.”
Items we suggest to you and your students for donating:

- instate mashed potatoes
