City of Southport issued the following announcement on Mar 3.
We are excited to inform you that INDOT now has a customer service line for highway issues. The toll free number is 855-463-6848. INDOT will provide a case number for each call for tracking purposes. We have also been informed of projects that will be happening this summer. You will be able to find more information on their website www.in.gov/indot
- Planned bridge/road work in the Southport area on I-65
- Little Buck creek bridge on I-65, construction is estimated to begin in May of this year. I-65 northbound entrance ramp will be closed.
- I-65 bridge over Keystone Ave.
- The I-69 project has the following interchanges proposed for Greenwood and Perry Township. This list is subject to change.
2. Interchange at County Line Rd and I 69.
3. Interchange at Southport Rd and I 69.
4. Interchange at Epler Ave and I 69.
