Cathedral High School issued the following announcement on Feb 24.
The Irish Wrestling team won their 3rd straight state championship by scoring 102 points overall.
Zeke Selter (120) and Holden Parson (285) won individual state championships as well! Eight Irish wrestlers advanced to the state meet with three advancing to the championship match.
The Irish ran away with the team competition defeating second place Crown Point by 8.5 points. Third place Evansville Mater Dei finished with 85 points.
This is the 3rd straight title for Cathedral and fourth overall (2019, 2018, 2014).
