Congressman Jefferson Shreve, who represents Indiana’s 6th Congressional District, recently highlighted local business operations, constituent services, and efforts to combat scams through a series of posts on his social media account.

On October 31, 2025, Shreve shared details about his visit to a major employer in Bartholomew County. In the post he wrote: "NTN Driveshaft in Columbus is one of Bartholomew County’s largest employers, with more than 1,600 Hoosiers producing precision parts used in vehicles around the world.

I visited to learn more about their operations and see firsthand how NTN’s innovation and craftsmanship https://t.co/jiYRl91n7W"

On November 3, 2025, Shreve announced upcoming outreach by his office staff: "Our constituent services team will host mobile office hours in Rush and Shelby Counties on Tuesday, November 4.

My office is here to help with any issues you may be facing with a federal agency — including the VA, IRS, or Social Security! https://t.co/ppunSKvj5V"

That same day, Shreve addressed the issue of financial scams affecting Americans: " Millions of dollars are stolen from Americans every day through foreign scams.

Read my Washington Examiner op-ed on how I’m working in Congress to protect Hoosiers from these costly crimes. #StopScams #CD6

https://t.co/Cl7ED53xL2" He referenced an opinion piece discussing legislative measures aimed at safeguarding residents against international fraud schemes.

Mobile office hours are part of congressional outreach strategies designed to bring constituent services directly into local communities. These sessions allow constituents to seek assistance with federal agencies such as the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and Social Security Administration without needing to travel long distances.

Indiana's manufacturing sector remains a key component of the state economy. Companies like NTN Driveshaft contribute significantly by employing local workers and exporting automotive components globally.
