André Carson, a U.S. Congressman representing Indiana's 7th district, has recently shared his thoughts on various pressing issues through a series of tweets. Carson, who succeeded Julia Carson in 2008 and previously served on the Indianapolis City-County Council, often addresses matters concerning privacy, governance, and civic engagement.

On February 19, 2025, André Carson tweeted about a legislative effort requiring minimal support from House Republicans to pass a bill aimed at preventing Elon Musk from accessing private information. He emphasized the urgency of the matter by stating that "just 3 House Republicans" need to join their efforts for success. "If just 3 House Republicans join us, we can pass a bill that stops Musk from accessing your private information."

Later that day, he reflected on American history by mentioning the consensus among the Founding Fathers regarding governance structure. His tweet highlighted their agreement against monarchical rule: "Our Founding Fathers didn’t agree on everything. But they all agreed on one thing: America should not be ruled by a king."

On February 20, 2025, Carson acknowledged participation in his virtual town hall meeting held the previous night. Over 800 individuals attended this session focused on addressing current fears and encouraging continued public involvement in political processes: "Over 800 of you tuned in to my virtual town hall last night. To everyone who is scared right now: Stay engaged. Keep dissenting. Keep fighting."
