STATEHOUSE (Jan. 29, 2025) – Speaker Huston has expressed support for Governor Braun following the State of the State address. Huston highlighted the governor's proactive approach and collaboration with the caucus on several key issues.
"Gov. Braun is showing right out of the gate that he is going to lead with action," Huston stated. He emphasized that their shared priorities include reducing health care costs, streamlining government operations, enhancing public safety, empowering parents, and strengthening schools.
Huston also mentioned their commitment to advancing "bold, conservative leadership" which he believes has contributed to low taxes, a growing economy, and increased opportunities for Hoosiers.
