Applications are now open for the Indiana House Page Program during the 2025 legislative session at the Statehouse in Indianapolis. State Representative Beau Baird (R-Greencastle) announced that students aged 13 to 18 from Indiana are invited to participate.

Baird emphasized the educational benefits of the program, stating, "The House page program is an excellent way for students to understand the role of lawmakers and how decisions are made at the state level. It's an experience that fosters interest in public service and leadership."

Students interested in participating can find applications and available dates on IndianaHouseRepublicans.com/PageProgram. The legislative session begins on January 8 and concludes by April 29, 2025.

Participants will have opportunities to assist lawmakers and staff, tour the Indiana Statehouse, and observe legislative sessions. Students can attend on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays during the session, with excused absences from school provided. Large groups may schedule visits on Wednesdays by contacting the page program director at 317-232-9410 or pageprogram@iga.in.gov.

It is noted that students must arrange their own lunch and transportation to and from Indianapolis.
