With the legislative session approaching, lawmakers in Vigo County are urging residents to participate in online surveys to provide feedback on key issues. Residents can access these surveys by visiting their state representative's webpage and clicking the "Take My Survey" button.

The representatives for Vigo County include State Rep. Bruce Borders (R-Jasonville) of House District 45, State Rep. Bob Heaton (R-Terre Haute) of House District 46, and State Rep. Alan Morrison (R-Brazil) of House District 42.

"Constituent feedback is essential to our work, ensuring the laws we pass reflect our community's values," stated Borders. "This survey gives everyone a chance to have their voice heard as we approach the 2025 session."

To participate, residents must be from the district and submit their responses by December 31. Constituents can verify their district by visiting the Indiana General Assembly's website at iga.in.gov and using the "Find Your Legislator" feature.

Heaton emphasized the importance of constituent input: "By taking the time to complete this survey, constituents help guide the decisions I make on their behalf."

The upcoming legislative session will commence on January 8 and conclude by April 29. Information on proposed legislation and livestreams of proceedings will be available at iga.in.gov.

Morrison encouraged participation: "These surveys are a great way for Hoosiers to share their perspectives and help shape the policies we consider."

Residents can also stay informed during the session by subscribing to email newsletters through IndianaHouseRepublicans.com or calling 317-232-9600.
