With the 2025 legislative session approaching, Allen County lawmakers are urging residents to participate in online surveys to provide feedback on important issues. Hoosiers can access these surveys by visiting their state representative's webpage and clicking on the "Take My Survey" button.
The representatives from Allen County include State Rep. Martin Carbaugh (R-Fort Wayne) of House District 81, State Rep. Dave Heine (R-Fort Wayne) of House District 85, State Rep. Chris Judy (R-Fort Wayne) of House District 83, and State Rep. Bob Morris (R-Fort Wayne) of House District 84.
"I encourage Hoosiers to take a moment to voice their opinions and share their perspectives on the issues they feel need attention," Carbaugh said. The surveys include a section for constituents to leave comments along with answering questions.
To complete the surveys, participants must be residents of the respective district and submit them by December 31. Residents can verify their district by visiting the Indiana General Assembly's website at iga.in.gov and using the "Find Your Legislator" feature.
"I suggest Hoosiers in House District 85 take a few minutes to complete and provide feedback on the 2025 issue survey," Heine stated, emphasizing the opportunity for constituents to share priorities that could influence community work at the Statehouse.
Judy highlighted that these surveys allow residents to influence policies under evaluation: "Your input is important, and I urge you to get involved."
The upcoming legislative session begins January 8 and concludes by April 29. Information on proposed legislation and livestreams of committee hearings will be available at iga.in.gov.
Morris added, "I value the responses from Hoosiers who share their thoughts on key issues affecting Allen County and our state." Survey responses help guide informed decisions on legislation.
