State Representatives Craig Haggard and Peggy Mayfield are urging Hoosiers to participate in their online legislative surveys ahead of the 2025 session. The surveys, accessible via each representative's webpage, allow residents to provide feedback on significant issues.
Haggard, representing House District 57, has made his survey available at in.gov/h57. Meanwhile, Mayfield's survey for House District 60 can be found at in.gov/h60. Both representatives emphasize the importance of these surveys in maintaining communication with constituents.
"This survey is an important tool for fostering dialogue between lawmakers and the people we represent," Haggard stated. "Hearing from Hoosiers ensures I can advocate effectively for our district."
To complete the surveys, participants must reside within the respective districts and submit their responses by December 31. Residents can verify their district by visiting the Indiana General Assembly's website at iga.in.gov and using the "Find Your Legislator" feature.
Mayfield highlighted her commitment to constituent engagement: "Receiving input from Hoosiers is an integral part of my job as a state representative," she said. "I look forward to hearing from constituents about what's important to them ahead of the 2025 session."
The upcoming legislative session will commence on January 8 and conclude by April 29. Interested individuals can track proceedings through iga.in.gov, where information on proposed legislation and live streams of hearings are available.
Additionally, Hoosiers can subscribe to email newsletters from their legislators at IndianaHouseRepublicans.com or contact them via phone at 317-232-9600 for updates during the session.
