State Representative Lori Goss-Reaves has been appointed as the vice chair of the House Insurance Committee. In addition to this role, she will also serve on the House Public Health Committee and the House Family, Children and Human Affairs Committee.

"Access to affordable and reliable insurance is critical for Indiana families and businesses," stated Goss-Reaves. "As vice chair, I’ll work to ensure our policies promote a competitive market while protecting consumers."

Committee appointments in the Indiana House are made biennially by the House Speaker following the November elections. These appointments remain effective throughout members' two-year terms.

The first day of the 2025 legislative session is scheduled for January 8 at 1:30 p.m. Hoosiers can access information about legislation, view calendars, and watch committee meetings and sessions by visiting iga.in.gov.

Goss-Reaves encourages her constituents to visit in.gov/h31 to sign up for e-newsletter updates regarding activities at the Statehouse during and beyond the legislative session.
