State Representative Michelle Davis of Whiteland recently honored Kyle Carmack with the Hardworking Hoosier Award. The award was presented on November 22, 2024, at Courthouse Coneys in Franklin. The event saw the presence of Carmack's friends and family members.

Kyle Carmack, a resident of Johnson County, was recognized for his efforts in collecting donations for victims of Hurricane Helene. He successfully filled a 53-foot semitrailer with supplies and delivered it to western North Carolina.

The Hardworking Hoosier Award aims to acknowledge individuals who contribute significantly to their community within House District 58. This includes professions ranging from teachers and instructional aides to doctors, CNAs, librarians, mechanics, grocery store employees, and skilled laborers.

Individuals wishing to nominate someone for this award must ensure that the nominee is a resident of House District 58. Award recipients receive a certificate during a special presentation and are featured in Davis' email updates to constituents throughout the district.

Further information about nominations can be found by visiting in.gov/h58.
