State Representative Michelle Davis recently honored Christy Holt with the Hardworking Hoosier Award. The award ceremony took place on October 24, 2024, at Christy's Design & Sign in Greenwood. Holt has been managing her business for over two decades and expressed that her favorite aspect of the job is engaging with customers and having the chance to be creative.

Holt's employees and friends were present during the presentation by Rep. Davis, who represents Whiteland. The award is part of Davis' initiative to acknowledge individuals who contribute significantly to their communities within House District 58. This includes a wide range of professions from teachers and doctors to mechanics and grocery store employees.

Residents of House District 58 can nominate individuals they believe are deserving of this recognition. Recipients receive an award certificate during a special presentation and are featured in email updates sent out by Rep. Davis to constituents across the district.
