The deadline to apply for an Indiana House Republican internship during the 2025 legislative session is nearing, as announced by State Representatives Alan Morrison and Sharon Negele. The application period closes on October 31.

This full-time internship takes place from Monday to Friday at the Statehouse in Indianapolis, running from January to April. Interns will earn $900 biweekly and have the opportunity to receive academic credit through their educational institutions.

"With opportunities to work in different departments, this internship gives students the chance to align their experience with their academic interests," said Morrison. "It's a tremendous opportunity to expand your skills and explore new career paths."

Negele encouraged college sophomores, juniors, seniors, graduate students, and recent graduates of all majors to apply before the deadline at indianahouserepublicans.com/internship.

"From networking to learning about policy and government, the Statehouse is the perfect place to explore new paths for your future career," Negele stated. "College students and recent graduates should apply and take advantage of the connections and skills you can gain."

Internships offer free parking, career development assistance, enrollment access to an Indiana government class, and eligibility for a $3,000 scholarship towards educational expenses. The program provides opportunities in various departments such as legislative operations, policy, and communications.
