The deadline for applications to the Indiana House Republican internship program is approaching, with State Rep. Lorissa Sweet (R-Wabash) reminding potential applicants that submissions are due by October 31. The internship, set for the spring semester of 2025, offers full-time positions from Monday to Friday at the Statehouse in Indianapolis during the legislative session, which runs from January through April.

Interns will receive $900 biweekly and have the opportunity to earn academic credit through their educational institutions. "Students who intern at the Statehouse can use their experience to enhance their resume and make connections that can lead to jobs in state government or the private sector," said Sweet.
