The deadline for applying to the Indiana House Republican internship for the 2025 legislative session is nearing, as announced by State Representative Dave Hall. Interested individuals have until October 31 to submit their applications.

This full-time internship will take place during the spring semester at the Statehouse in Indianapolis. It runs from Monday through Friday throughout the legislative session, beginning in January and ending in April. Interns will receive a biweekly stipend of $900 and may also earn academic credit through their respective colleges or universities.

"Interning at the Statehouse is not only educational, but it also helps students stand out in today's competitive job market," stated Hall. "It's a great way to explore career options and make lasting professional connections."

Hall encourages college sophomores, juniors, seniors, graduate students, and recent graduates from all majors to apply by visiting indianahouserepublicans.com/internship before the deadline.

The internship offers benefits such as free parking, assistance with career and professional development, and access to an Indiana government class. Additionally, interns can apply for a $3,000 scholarship intended for undergraduate or graduate expenses.

Participants will have opportunities to work in departments aligned with their fields of study, including legislative operations, policy-making, and communications.

Applications must be submitted online at indianahouserepublicans.com/internship by October 31.
