House Speaker Todd Huston (R-Fishers) has announced the 2024 interim study committee assignments for members of the Indiana House of Representatives. These committees convene during the summer and fall to examine policy issues and collaborate on potential solutions. Legislators will gather testimonies from the public, experts, and stakeholders as they prepare bill recommendations for the budget session beginning in January.

“Legislators will tackle a wide variety of issues in the months ahead in preparation for next year's budget session," Huston stated. "I'm grateful to have a deep bench of talented and knowledgeable members who I know will work hard to find solutions to the challenges facing Hoosiers, because that’s what our constituents expect and deserve.”

The 2024 legislative interim study committee assignments and other legislative appointments for House members are available online. Committee hearings, typically held at the Statehouse in Indianapolis, can be viewed live on the General Assembly's website at iga.in.gov.
