A Place at the Table: African Americans on the Path to Sainthood: Oct. 8

A Place at the Table: African Americans on the Path to Sainthood: Oct. 8

The second half of the documentary ‘A Place at the Table: African Americans on the Path to Sainthood’ will be shown Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, at Saint Thomas Aquinas Parish. You do NOT need to have seen the first part of the documentary to attend.

This film details the remarkable lives of: Venerable Father Augustus Tolton; Venerable Pierre Toussaint; Venerable Henriette Delille; Servant of God Mother Mary Elizabeth Lange; Servant of God Julia Greeley; and Servant of God Sister Thea Bowman. You will learn from their ordinary struggles that all people are called to sainthood, the road to sainthood is not easy, and that sainthood is about serving God and God’s people.

Meet in the Bethany Room at St. Thomas, after the 5:30 p.m. Mass to share a meal, view the film and participate in a reflection and discussion.
