The campaign committee of Republican Party candidate Kelly Mitchell, Friends of Kelly Mitchell, refunded $2,800 to Melissa Proffitt on June 30, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

According to the FEC data, the following reason was listed for the refunded expenditure: 'Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company'.

Friends of Kelly Mitchell refunded $40,800 total since January 1.
