On Saturday, April 19, former Speedway Senior High School standout Kaiah Fenters’ current college team, the Valparaiso Beacons, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Belmont Bruins.
The game took place at E.S. Rose Park. This was their third matchup against the Bruins this season.
The Beacons’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 23 at 5 p.m. at Melissa Cook Stadium against Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
State Rep. Michelle Davis welcomed Cana Guilfoy from Whiteland Community High School as a page during the legislative session. The visit gave Guilfoy a chance to observe state government in action and interact with lawmakers.
