State Representative Tony Isa welcomed Liam Young, a student from Angola High School, to the Indiana Statehouse on March 16, where Young participated in the Indiana House Page Program during the 2026 legislative session.
The program offers students an opportunity to learn about state government and observe the legislative process firsthand. Isa said, “Programs like this help spark curiosity and interest in how state government operates. It’s always rewarding to see students from House District 51 who are eager to learn about the legislative process.”
During his visit, Young interacted with lawmakers and staff, toured the Statehouse, and joined Isa on the House floor to watch a legislative session. The experience is designed for students ages 13 to 18 who want to gain insight into how laws are made and how government functions.
Students interested in participating in future sessions can find more information at indianahouserepublicans.com/pageprogram.

Huston has also expanded Indiana’s Choice Scholarship program and championed measures for tax relief and school choice in Indiana, as reported by the Indiana House Republicans website. He resides in Fishers with his wife Denise and their two adult children. Huston has served as state representative since his first election in 2012 and holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Indiana University.
Isa’s engagement with local students reflects ongoing efforts by state legislators to encourage youth participation in government programs.
