State Representative Matt Commons of Williamsport visited the Mary T. Klinker Veterans Resource Center to promote awareness for veterans’ issues. The visit took place on June 25, 2025, at Operation Restoring Hope in Boswell.

The Mary T. Klinker Veterans Resource Center is a nonprofit organization focused on providing support to veterans through financial assistance, peer support, and holistic healing approaches. Their new facility, Operation Restoring Hope, was once an Indiana National Guard Armory but has been transformed into a residential healing center with 13 rooms offering sober living and various therapies within a supportive veteran community.

Commons was joined by State Representative Ethan Lawson from Greenfield during the visit. Also present were Jake Adams, Director of the Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs; Andrew Grimes, President of the Mary T. Klinker Veterans Resource Center; Christina Loveless, Executive Director of MTK; Catherine Baker from Nowhere Collaborative; and Andrea Bowman from Benton County Community Foundation.
