NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announced on Tuesday that the NFL Foundation will donate $10,000 to Kicking The Stigma, an initiative started by the Indianapolis Colts and the Irsay family to address mental health awareness and reduce stigma.
The announcement was made at the start of the annual NFL Women’s Forum during the NFL Combine. Colts Owner and CEO Carlie Irsay-Gordon, along with Kalen Jackson, who serves as both Owner & Chief Brand Officer and President of the Indianapolis Colts Foundation, joined Pat McAfee for a discussion at the event.
“Kicking The Stigma has committed over $32 million to mental health awareness, organizations and research; it has distributed $7.2 million in action grants to fund mental health programs and research within non-profit organizations,” according to information shared during the forum. Applications for 2026 Kicking The Stigma action grants are open until February 28.
