Porter County’s Cameron Andrews is acquiring valuable experience through his internship with State Representative Ed Soliday and the Indiana House of Representatives during the 2025 legislative session.

Andrews, an alumnus of Washington Township High School, is the son of Anthony and Elaine Andrews. Currently, he is a junior at Indiana University Indianapolis, pursuing majors in management and marketing at the Kelley School of Business.

“Being able to network and be at the hub of where decisions are made are what makes this worth it,” Andrews remarked. “Contributing to the state and providing a better tomorrow for Hoosiers is what I strive to do every day.”

In his role, Andrews is responsible for corresponding with constituents via phone, letters, and emails and staffing committee hearings and floor proceedings.

Representative Soliday noted, “Cameron has a great opportunity to gain the skills he needs and make important connections to help him start his career. Interns like him are helpful to both members and constituents throughout the legislative session.”

Each year, the House of Representatives provides paid internship opportunities to college students, law students, graduate students, and recent graduates during the legislative session. More information can be found at IndianaHouseRepublicans.com/internship.
