Congressman Jefferson Shreve of Indiana’s 6th District has announced the winner of the 2025 Congressional Art Competition. Kobey Knight, a student from SEEK Homeschool Academy in Greenwood, was selected for his photography piece titled “America’s Comeback.” This artwork features Captain America as a symbol of the strength and integrity of the American people.

Each year, members of the House select one student from their districts to have their artwork displayed at the U.S. Capitol for a year. The competition provides students with an opportunity to showcase their artistic talents. Winners are invited to Washington, D.C., where they can see their work displayed in the Capitol complex and attend an event honoring them.

Representative Shreve expressed his enthusiasm about Kobey’s achievement: “Congratulations to Kobey of Greenwood on winning this year’s Congressional Art Competition. I’m eager to have his artwork displayed in the Capitol. It’ll proudly represent Indiana’s 6th Congressional District! I look forward to welcoming Kobey and his family to our nation’s capital this month!”
