At Kaplan University-Indianapolis, 78 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students – age 25 or older – and 75 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Indianapolis enrolled 1,498 students in fall 2018, including 1,258 in undergraduate and 240 in graduate programs, data shows. 40.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

96 percent of undergraduates are residents of Indiana, and 4 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (56 percent) and Black or African American (15 percent).
