On Sunday, April 6, former Ben Davis High School standout Jayden Atkins’ current college team, the Manchester Spartans, lost 5-1 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Franklin Grizzlies.
The game took place at John P. McDowell Field. This was their second matchup against the Grizzlies this season.
The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Monday, April 7 at 4 p.m. at John P. McDowell Field against Franklin Grizzlies.
State Rep. Michelle Davis welcomed Cana Guilfoy from Whiteland Community High School as a page during the legislative session. The visit gave Guilfoy a chance to observe state government in action and interact with lawmakers.
