Lucas LeJeune from Roermond, Netherlands, has been named the Indianapolis Colts’ “International Fan of the Year” for 2025. The announcement was made by the team on Monday, with Lucas Oil Products presenting the award as the official global partner of the Colts.

The recognition honors NFL fans worldwide who inspire others through their enthusiasm for American football. LeJeune has played a significant role in supporting the Colts across Europe, especially during and after the team’s victory over the Atlanta Falcons at Berlin’s Olympiastadion, which marked the club’s first international home game.

As part of his recognition, LeJeune will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh. He is also nominated for the league-wide “International Fan of the Year” award, with the overall winner to be announced during draft weekend.

LeJeune became a fan of the Colts in 2019 while participating in a high school exchange program and living with a host family in Fishers, Indiana. He immersed himself in learning about the team’s history and values and soon became a dedicated supporter. After returning to the Netherlands, he helped start a group chat with other European Colts fans.

This initiative grew into “Blue Crew Europe,” now comprising more than 100 Colts fans from across Europe. LeJeune helps organize group activities and events, including hosting Europe’s first Colts-themed cookout at his home.

His residence in the Netherlands, known as “Colts Gardenhouse,” features an extensive collection of team memorabilia.

LeJeune has attended games at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis and in Nashville. In 2023, he traveled to Frankfurt to watch the Colts defeat the New England Patriots and was present two years later in Berlin when Jonathan Taylor scored three touchdowns to secure an overtime win against the Falcons. He continues to visit Indianapolis regularly; this year he spent several weeks there over the holidays, attending two games and visiting team facilities twice.

During his second visit this year, LeJeune participated in recording an episode of “The Colts Show” podcast. At its conclusion, Bernhard Raimann—left tackle for the Colts—and team mascot Blue surprised him by announcing that he had been named “International Fan of the Year” for 2025.
