Indiana State Police arrested two 19-year-old men following a road rage shooting incident on I-465 in Indianapolis.

Hector Galvez-Flores and Lester Ramos-Posadas, both from Honduras, are being held without bond in the Marion County Jail, with one under an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainer and the other on a federal arrest warrant.

According to a FOX59 report, Indiana State Police dispatchers received a 911 call on Saturday from a woman who said a man inside a gray Ford Escape had shot at her while she drove on I-465 near the Interstate 69 interchange on Indianapolis’ northeast side. Detectives used Flock traffic cameras to identify the vehicle, which had a temporary license plate registered to a different car, leading to the arrests of the driver and passenger.

Marion County Jail held at least 1,057 people for immigration-related reasons from at least 55 different countries in 2025. ICE was listed as the arresting agency for 94.8% of those bookings, according to WFYI. Indiana law requires the jail to honor all detainer requests from federal immigration authorities.

The Indiana State Police serves as the law enforcement agency for Indiana. Established in the early 1930s after earlier motor vehicle police operations began in 1921, the agency maintains over 1,100 troopers, according to its website.
