Congressman Jefferson Shreve, who represents Indiana’s 5th Congressional District, shared updates on recent events and initiatives in a series of posts on his social media account.

On February 7, 2026, Shreve commented on Greenwood Mayor Mark Myers’ State of the City address. Although he was in Washington for congressional votes, Shreve stated: “I was in Washington for votes, but I wish I could’ve attended Greenwood’s State of the City this week. Our team was there. In another post dated February 10, 2026, Shreve highlighted an upcoming motorsport event: “Born in Indiana. Built by America innovation. Coming to Washington this August. Later that same day, Shreve reflected on meeting with Special Olympics athletes and Indiana leaders as the Olympic Games were underway globally: “As the Olympics capture the world’s attention, I met with @SpecialOlympics athletes and Indiana leaders today. Their work is a reminder that sport can promote inclusion, dignity, and opportunity for everyone. #SpecialOlympics #Indiana https://t.co/Djfb6YiK1Q”.
