Congressman Jefferson Shreve has recently taken to social media to share updates on legislative efforts and notable achievements. His tweets, which cover topics ranging from combating scam messages to celebrating artistic talent and honoring military service, provide insight into his activities and priorities.

On June 8, 2025, Congressman Shreve highlighted his efforts to address the issue of scam messages affecting residents in Indiana. He stated, “So many Hoosiers get scam messages — including myself! My bill works to combat these scams and protect those receiving toll road texts, calls, emails, and more!” He further mentioned an upcoming discussion with John Foster from @1010wcsi where he would delve deeper into this legislation.

The following day, June 9, 2025, Shreve extended his congratulations to a young artist from Greenwood for winning a prestigious competition. He announced via Twitter that “Congratulations to Kobey Knight of Greenwood for winning our 2025 Congressional Art Competition! His piece, America’s Comeback, was crafted to represent the strength and integrity of the American people.” Congressman Shreve expressed his enthusiasm about displaying Knight’s artwork in the U.S. Capitol.

Later that day on June 9th, Congressman Shreve shared another moment of pride as he received recognition from the United States Marine Corps. He tweeted about this honor stating “I was honored to receive the @USMC seal at our DC office from Lt. Colonel Matthew Lamb — a Hoosier from Connersville and a fellow IU alum!” The seal will be displayed in their Capitol Hill office as a tribute to Marines who serve the country.
