The Indianapolis Colts announced on Mar. 13 that they have traded wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. and a 2026 seventh-round pick (No. 230 overall) to the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round pick (No. 214/216 overall).
This move gives the Colts an additional selection in the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft, allowing them more flexibility as they look to build their roster for future seasons.
Following the trade, the Colts now hold seven picks in the 2026 draft: one each in the second round (No. 47), third round (No. 78), fourth round (No. 113), fifth round (No. 154), sixth round (No. 214), and two in the seventh round (Nos. 249 and 254).
Pittman was originally selected by Indianapolis as a second-round pick (No. 34 overall) in the 2020 NFL Draft. In the most recent season, he recorded 80 receptions for 784 yards and seven touchdowns over seventeen games played during the 2025 campaign. Over his six-year tenure with the Colts, Pittman accumulated a total of 485 receptions, amassing 5,254 yards and scoring twenty-five touchdowns.
The trade marks a significant change for both teams as they prepare for future seasons and adjust their rosters ahead of upcoming drafts.
