The Indianapolis Colts are set to play two primetime games during the 2026 regular season, matching their total from the previous two years, according to a May 14 announcement.
The schedule, released by the National Football League, shows that both of these games will be on the road. The Colts will face the Kansas City Chiefs at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 2 on Sunday Night Football at 8:20 p.m., and then meet the Houston Texans in Week 11 at Reliant Stadium on Thursday Night Football at 8:15 p.m.
The team last appeared on Sunday Night Football in November 2024 against the Minnesota Vikings. Historically, they have a record of 23 wins and 27 losses when playing on Sunday nights. Their performance has been stronger on Thursday nights with an overall record of 11-3. The most recent Thursday night game was in October 2022, when they defeated the Denver Broncos with a score of 12-9.
In comparison, during the previous season in 2025, Indianapolis played only one primetime game—a Monday Night Football matchup where they lost to the San Francisco 49ers.
There are still details pending for two games this season. The dates and times for Week 16 against the Cincinnati Bengals and Week 18 against the Jacksonville Jaguars—both set to take place at Lucas Oil Stadium—have yet to be determined.
Looking ahead, fans can expect more clarity as additional scheduling information becomes available.
