The Indianapolis Colts announced on Mar. 13 that they have re-signed wide receiver and special teams player Laquon Treadwell.
Treadwell, who is 30 years old, has played in 12 games over the past two seasons with the Colts. He first joined the team during training camp before the 2024 season and spent time on the practice squad in both 2024 and 2025 before being added to the active roster in November.
In the 2025 season, Treadwell participated in 36 offensive snaps and contributed significantly on special teams with 141 snaps. Although he did not record a reception last year, he made eight tackles on special teams. His efforts helped the Colts’ kickoff coverage unit allow an average of just 25.6 yards per return, ranking them thirteenth in the National Football League, while their punt coverage allowed only 6.3 yards per return, which was second best in the league.
Treadwell is known as a respected presence within the Colts’ locker room. Originally a first-round pick in 2016, he has previously played for five other franchises: Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Falcons, Jacksonville Jaguars, Seattle Seahawks, and Baltimore Ravens. He has focused on making an impact through special teams as his career continues into his thirties.
The team also highlighted Treadwell’s role and experience during a recent episode of The Colts Show Podcast.
