The Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders announced on March 9 the members of the 2026 Colts Cheer squad.
A total of 47 finalists from Indiana and 16 other states performed group and solo dance routines at the Hilbert Circle Theater before a panel of judges, who selected the final squad for the upcoming season. The event marked an important milestone for participants and supporters alike.
The auditions were sponsored in part by Tyler Mason Salon & Spa, which is recognized as the salon choice of the Colts Cheerleaders. Additionally, Diamonds Direct was named as the title sponsor for the Colts Cheerleaders for the upcoming season. As part of their ongoing partnership, Diamonds Direct will continue to provide each rookie cheerleader with a horseshoe-shaped ring to recognize their accomplishments.
Colts Cheer will celebrate its 43rd season in Indianapolis in 2026. The program originally debuted in Baltimore in 1954 and is noted as the longest running cheer program in the National Football League.
Beyond performing at every home game at Lucas Oil Stadium, Colts cheerleaders are active in community service. In 2025, squad members logged nearly 1,200 hours at community and corporate appearances and visited military bases around the world. The cheerleaders also serve as positive role models through participation in the Colts Junior Cheer program, which currently includes close to 400 children ages three to fourteen.
